Season of Creation

St. Philip’s Anglican Church, Milford, along with Christians around the word, are joined together to pray and care for God’s creation. The annual Season of Creation observed from September 1 to October 4 is an important focal point for us.

The final session in the Season of Creation series is Thursday, October 7, at 7:00 p.m. The guest speaker is Bishop Michael Oulton, on The Earth is the Lord’s and the Fullness Thereof. Here is the ZOOM link and we hope to see you there!

Please continue to pray for God’s creation, and how we care for it. Here is the Collect for the Season of Creation:

Source of all life, we give thanks to you for your wondrous creation made manifest in the environment that surrounds us; strengthen us in the mission of stewardship and care towards nature, the work of your hands, encouraging us to preserve life in all its precious forms. All this we ask through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen. (Source: Rev. Luiz Coelho, Episcopal Church of Brazil, 2018).
