On Sunday, November 12, Bishop William Cliff came to St. Philip’s, and St. Philip’s gave him a warm Milford welcome!
The Bishop blessed a beautiful Archdeacon’s cincture, presented to Canon Nancy on her appointment as a new Archdeacon for the Diocese of Ontario. The cincture was lovingly created by our own Eleanor Johnston, pictured here below.
Bishop Cliff then lead us in worship, provided a thoughtful, and thought-provoking, sermon. It was quite meaningful to share in the Eucharist with our new Bishop.
After the service we joined together for some coffee and tea, and a brunch provided by the St. Philip’s ACW (Anglican Church Women). A good time was had by all!
