New incumbent for Parish of Tyendinaga

Our Parish Priest, The Ven. Archdeacon Nancy Northgrave, has been appointed to the Parish of Tyendinaga. Although this was a surprise for St. Philip’s parishioners to hear, we also know Archdeacon Nancy feels a call to Indigenous Ministry. We wish her and the parishioners of Tyendinaga well. Below is the message from Bishop Willian Cliff.

Bishop Wiliam Cliff is pleased to announce the appointment of The Venerable Nancy Northgrave as incumbent of the Parish of Tyendinaga, effective November 1, 2026. Nancy is presently the incumbent of the Parishes of Kente and Marysburgh. She also currently serves as the warden of the Lay Readers’ Association and is the archdeacon for rural ministry and training and will continue in both these roles. Her previous parish ministries in our diocese have included the Parishes of Stirling, Roslin, Marlbank, Plevna and Flinton. Blessings to Nancy and the Parish of Tyendinaga as they begin this new chapter of ministry together.
