During Lent, St. Philip’s Anglican Church in Milford is carrying-out Evening Prayer on Wednesday’s at 5:00 p.m. Join us any or all, beginning Wednesday, February 25, then the next four Wednesdays; March 4, March 11, March 18, and March 25.
So what is Evening Prayer? Evening Prayer takes place as dusk begins to fall, which is the reason we are having it 5:00 p.m. The focus is to give thanks for the day just past and make an evening “sacrifice” of praise to God. This works really well during Lent as we are lead through the last days of Jesus’ life, the ultimate sacrifice.
